April 16 Northern Lights over the Okanagan
There was a notification that an approaching solar storm could hit our little planet and create an aurora event on the night of April 15. I went out to the Ellis Reservoir due west of Penticton British Columbia and set up my Canon 6D with a 24mm Rokinon 1.8 around 10 pm and shot a frame every eight seconds till 2:30 the following morning.
I’ve combined the 1,700 still images to produce a time lapse of this aurora show. Feel free to share the file if you enjoyed the clip.
